The “Total Dance Pitești” club represented our city, on April 20, 2024, at the National Championship of Street Dance and Breaking, organized by the Romanian Sports Dance Federation in Bucharest. The athletes from the two bands and two duo teams, trained at the dance courses of the Pitesti Cultural Center, coordinated and trained by choreographers Lisa Maria Schieb and Marin Alexandru Antonio, returned with the titles of Champions and Vice-champions. The titles of National Vice-Champions were won by the band Gurlz Rulez (category 10-12 years) and by the band Mafia Ballerinas (category 13-15 years). The titles of National Champions were awarded to Nora Gheorghe and Maria Iliescu, in the 10-12 years duo category, and to Lisa Maria Schieb and Marin Alexandru Antonio, in the adult duo category.

“It was a tough competition, as there were many participants from all areas of the country and their level of training was very high. But after a lot of work and overcoming all emotions, the members of our club’s performance group won the titles of national champions and runners-up,” informs choreographer and international sports dance judge Alfred Schieb.
