The National Olympiad of Romanian Language and Literature begins on Thursday in Suceava. 276 students accompanied by 44 teachers are expected to participate

Between April 24-28, Suceava will host the National Olympiad of Romanian Language and Literature for grades IX-XII, organized by the Suceava County School Inspectorate. A total of 276 students, accompanied by 44 teachers, will start a week full of challenges and excellence in the literary field.

The opening ceremony will take place on Wednesday, April 24, in the Aula Magna of the University “Ștefan cel Mare” Suceava, starting at 5:30 p.m.

The written test will be held on Thursday, April 25, at the Economic College “Dimitrie Cantemir” Suceava, and on Friday, at the same exam center, the oral test will take place.

The crew from Suceava is composed of the following students: Tiron Alessia Maria (Alexandru cel Bun Gura Humorului College), Găitan Daria Alexia (Ștefan cel Mare National College Suceava), Solovăstru Georgiana (Eudoxiu Hurmuzachi Rădăuți National College), Avram Teodora (Ștefan cel Mare National Military College Mare Câmpulung Moldovenesc), Vișovan Cosmin Dumitru (National Military College Ștefan cel Mare Câmpulung Moldovenesc), Bogdan Andreea Eliza (National College Petru Rareș Suceava), Ursu Maria Monica (National College Nicu Gane Fălticeni), Placintă Alexia (National College Petru Rareș Suceava) , accompanied by Prof. Pintilei Mihaela.

The beautiful results from the previous stage of the Olympiad are due both to the effort and talent of these children, as well as to the coordinating teachers: Apetri Adriana Alina, Murariu Iulia, Halip Beatrice, Pintilei Mihaela, Cîrstian Gheorghe, Bența Viorica.

The students will also take part in recreational activities such as the one organized in collaboration with the Light of ink Poetry House. Live poetry, where the vice-rector of USV, prof. univ.dr., will be invited. Mircea A. Diaconu.

In addition, the participants will visit the Suceava Seat Citadel, the Bucovinean Village Museum and the Voronet Monastery. The organizers aimed to introduce the guests to the blessed universe of Bucovina and present them at least a few pages from the story of this land.

The best of the participants will be rewarded with prizes during the Awards Ceremony, scheduled for April 27, at “Ștefan cel Mare” University Suceava, starting at 4:30 p.m.

The entire event is coordinated by the general school inspector, Prof. Grigore Bocanci and the school inspector for Romanian language and literature, Prof. Mihaela Acatrinei.
