The youth team of the University Sports Club from Suceava qualified for the semifinals of the final tournament of the National Championship. In the first match of the competition in Plopeni, the players coached by Vasile Boca defeated CSM Vaslui with a score of 37-27.
The 8 most valuable men’s – youth handball teams from Romania face each other in the final tournament, scheduled for April 22-25 in Prahova, in Plopeni.
CSU Suceava started with a victory over CSM Vaslui, score 37-27, at halftime 18-16. With 7 goals, Alexandru Reuț was the best scorer of the Sucevians in this match. Dragoș Podovei (9 interventions), Răzvan Rîpa (6 interventions and a goal), Ștefan Leonte (one intervention), Iulian Roșu (6 goals), Codrin Radu 5, Sorin Grigore 4, Alexandru Focșăneanu also played for the team coached by Vasile Boca. 4, Emanuel Şerban 2, Andrei Rață 2, Andrei Bruj 2, Codrin Dascălu 2, Eduard Rusu 1, Bogdan Niculaie 1, Teodor Iluca and Teodor Moșneagu. In the semifinals of the final youth tournament, CSU Suceava will meet CSM Focșani.
In the other semifinal, Cluj University and Timișoara Polytechnic will face each other. The grand final is scheduled for Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

He is the brain behind the famous “Cupa Cartierelor” competition, which had its first edition in 2012 and brought together hundreds of football enthusiasts from behind the block. At the 2018 edition of the Romanian Film Gala, he won the grand prize for the short film “Football in Heaven”.
