A gynecologist from Giurgiu was caught taking a bribe of 900 lei for a caesarean section.
DGA Giurgiu caught a gynecologist from the Giurgiu County Hospital in the act on Tuesday.
The gynecologist claimed and received 900 lei from a patient’s relative, of which 700 lei for himself and 200 lei for other people from the gynecology department, for a caesarean section.
After the hearing, the case prosecutor ordered the detention of the doctor for 24 hours, the investigations being continued for bribery.
