The “Couleurs” ensemble, an independent cultural entity, presented today, April 3, 2024, its plan for the season it will run in the coming months. The ensemble that has already impressed the public in the last three years will continue its activity this year on some of the most famous stages both in Romania and abroad.
The ensemble coordinated by the composer Alexandru Ștefan Murariu continues to surprise its audience with concerts and musical demonstrations in the months to come. If last year, the members of the ensemble ended up performing on the stage of the Berlin Philharmonic, in the coming months they are preparing for concerts on the stages of Cluj, Bucharest and Potsdam.
“The most important lesson we learned last season is to plant in the young generation,” says Alexandru Ștefan Murariu, the ensemble’s artistic coordinator.
Founded during the pandemic, the ensemble, together with its members and coordinators, is entitled as an ambassador of Romanian musical culture. The sphere in which the musicians operate focuses on modern, contemporary and native music.
“There will be very diverse concert programs, challenging for the audience’s imagination and experience,” says Andra Pătraș, musicologist, about the ensemble’s future performances.
For the next period, the “Couleurs” Ensemble announces its participation in several music festivals specific to the area in which it operates, at least seven stages where those who are part of the ensemble will reach. The first performance will take place on April 6, during the “Cluj Modern” International Music Festival.
