The Sibiu County Council accessed a 15 million lei (3 million euro) funding from the Environmental Fund Administration for the purchase of 13 minibuses intended for schools in the county. The investment is added to the 56 electric school minibuses already obtained by CJ Sibiu from the non-refundable funds managed by the Ministry of Education through the PNRR, and for which the purchase contract signing procedure is currently underway, according to a press release from the Sibiu County Council.

“Through this new opportunity, we will be able to complete the need for school transport for even more communities, and thus, I hope, we will have as few children as possible who will drop out of school. Therefore, to the almost 36 million lei, obtained through PNRR, another 15 million is added through AFM for the purchase of minibuses for schools in Sibiu county”, said Daniela Cîmpean, president of the Sibiu County Council, in a press release.
