Arges. The National Festival “Dinu Lipatti Music Awards” is approaching

107 years after the birth of the great pianist and composer Dinu Lipatti, the “Dinu Lipatti Music Awards” National Festival-Competition returns with a new edition dedicated to the young talents of classical music. Lipatti’s piano at the Fundățeanca Memorial House (Glâmbocata – Leordeni) will come to life again in the company of young virtuosos.

The young artists will show off both their native talent and the mastery acquired through years of assiduous practice on the stage of the “Al. Davila” and the Popular School of Arts and Crafts Pitesti within the Argeș County Center for Culture and Arts, on April 10.

On April 11, the “Dinu Lipatti” Memorial House from Fundățeanca will come alive once again, to the tunes of young music lovers and the applause of the music-loving public, on the occasion of the Laureate Gala” – said Adrian Dumitru Bughiu, vice-president of the CJ Argeș.

As in every edition, the “Dinu Lipatti” National Music Awards Festival-Competition is open to young talents in three sections: Piano, Violin and Classical Singing. Winners in each age category will receive trophies and diplomas in recognition of dedication to instrumental and interpretive music.

Through this competition, now in its ninth edition, the Dinu Lipatti Music Awards Festival-Competition, a competition that has become an impressive visiting card of Argeşa culture, new and ambitious talents will receive their due recognition and appreciation, after years of tireless study – it is stated in a press release from CJ Argeș.
