The video, which shows a little girl with a pacifier in her mouth, dressed in a white and pink jacket, was allegedly taken on Saturday, March 30, by a man of Serbian origin living in Vienna, who sent the video to Austrian authorities.

Two Romanians, suspected of kidnapping the child

The man thinks the little girl he filmed could be Danka. He said he saw her near a subway station. The child was running and screaming. The man noticed that he was with two women who were speaking Romanian to each other and they called the little girl, but she did not answer, said the Serb who was interviewed by the police.

The exact circumstances, particularly if it is the missing girl, are the subject of an ongoing investigation. On the other hand, in Serbia, but also in Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina, more than 1,000 emergency services employees are constantly searching for Danka. The child’s parents were also intensively interrogated by the police, separately, for several hours, several times. Divers also searched the lake in the area where the disappearance was reported.
