Hotel Europa in Eforie Nord, owned by the company Ana Hotels, controlled by businessman George Copos, was renovated through an investment of over 14 million euros and is set to open its doors to tourists starting on April 16.

“During the pandemic, I decided to invest in Athénée Palace Bucharest. I had fantastic courage in 2020, when I worked at Athénée Palace Bucharest with the same teams that we have now at Europa Hotel. We finished 132 rooms, from red, in seven months at Athénée Palace Bucharest, followed by the second phase, with 178 rooms. It was a challenge. I felt the need for a new challenge, and it came with the Europa Hotel. It was a huge challenge to complete 25,000 square meters from red in almost six months. The works started in October 2023 and proceeded at an exceptional pace. It is the largest hotel modernization project in its more than 20 years under the Ana Hotels brand”, said the businessman during the press conference held in Eforie Nord.

The investment of 14 million euros, the representatives of Ana Hotels detail, included works to improve the energy efficiency of the building, both on the outside through thermal insulation, the restoration of the carpentry and balconies, the complete modernization of the building’s installations, as well as by restoring the design of the rooms.
