The interest for money from the state budget in the case of investment projects is almost always high, as confirmed by the results of the auction for the construction of the nursery on Viitorului street. The future institution will be financed by the National Investment Company.
We remind you that a tender for the design and construction of a nursery in the municipality of Sibiu, together with a similar project in Craiova was also organized in 2022, in the case of the nursery in Sibiu being cancelled.
The tenders aim to adapt to the site and execute the works for two major projects: the first nursery will be located on Viitorului street no. 28A in the municipality of Sibiu, and the second one on Artilleriei street, no. 13, in the Veteranilor neighborhood of Craiova.
The estimated total value of the investment is 36,856,921 lei, without VAT, distributed equally between the two lots. Each project benefits from a budget allocation of 18,428,460.50 lei, excluding VAT.
The construction of the nursery in Sibiu would be financed with funds from PNRR.
At the end of last week, the bids were opened, and the results on the public auction platform show a great interest in the project on Viitorului, as eight associations were registered.
Among them are associations led by well-known companies from Sibiu, such as CON-A, Geiger or Total NSA AG Contruct. Other companies interested in the project, as joint venture leader, include SMB Steel Project Partnership, Terusa Build, Toderică Solutions, Simion Tehnoconstruct and Zeb City Integrated Solutions. In total, there are 61 companies grouped into eight associations.

We specify that the future nursery would be the largest and most modern in Sibiu. 4,500 square meters is the land on which it is to be built, between Viitorului street and Teilor street. The building will have a single level with a usable area of 2,400 square meters, with the provision of both green spaces and a generous playground.
Functionally, the future building will have 11 bedrooms, six playrooms equipped with changing rooms and toilets, a canteen, a toilet for the disabled, a reception area, a medical office with an isolator, an office area and technical rooms. On the roof, it is requested to place voltaic panels and for the preparation of hot water, as well as the arrangement of green spaces.
