Mistake of proportions! The pedestrian bridge over Someș, in the municipality of Satu Mare, which was ready for inauguration, is a big miss. After the representatives of NEPI paid for the feasibility study with hard money and handed it over to the representatives of the Satu Mare City Hall for the continuation of the works, for unexplained reasons someone still made the wrong positioning of the pedestrian walkway, reinforced concrete sources stated for PresaSM.

More precisely, the pedestrian bridge had to be located at least TEN meters further to the left, so that from the footbridge one could go directly to the upper level of the representative mall in the municipality of Satu Mare. Practically, by positioning from the present you get directly into… the green space.

“We kept telling the workers that it is not good, that it is not coming to our terrace. But they said that’s how it is in the project. Which project, gentlemen?! That it is wrong from one end to the other. How will people get to us in the mall?! Under the ground?”, says an employee of the Satu Mare Shopping City mall.

The representatives of the Satu Mare City Hall – at the summons of the construction site manager – again ordered the large crane to lift the metal structure of the pedestrian bridge and move it – as I told you – ten meters to the left.

“Actually, I was away from Satu Mare for about two months. When I come home, what to see?! The gangway was wrong! I thought my legs were giving out. We gave a one-month ultimatum to the local authorities to come with the crane to move the whole structure further to the left. I admit, when I saw where it is positioned now, I went to the ophthalmologist, I thought I had vision problems”, said the collaborator of the construction site manager, named Dorel Păcălescu.

Contacted by phone and telepathically, the representatives of the Satu Mare City Hall did not answer! It would be hard to do it in such a problem, only today is April 1, April Fool’s Day!
