In 2022, the Christmas market in Constitution Square will be open from November 20 to December 26, from Monday to Friday, between 12:00 and 23:00, and on Saturday and Sunday between 10:00 and 23:00. Visitor access is free.

The fair will have over 70 wooden houses, where visitors can buy various gifts for their loved ones, toys, home-made items, traditional souvenirs or enjoy a kurtos colac, gingerbread or a glass of mulled wine.
Children will enjoy the interactive activity at the Christmas market. Santa’s house promises to create a fairy tale atmosphere, and the little ones will be greeted by elves and they will also be able to talk to Santa Claus and take pictures.
At the Christmas market there will also be a large Christmas tree, an ice rink, carousel and a Ferris wheel.
The Christmas market in Sibiu
The Christmas market in Sibiu is one of the most awaited events of the winter, to which thousands of tourists from all over the country and abroad come every year.

In 2022, the Christmas market in Sibiu opened on November 11 and closes on December 27. The fair will be held in Piața Mare and is open to the public, from Monday to Sunday, between 11:00 and 21:00.

At the 15th edition of the Christmas market in Sibiu, more than 80 exhibitors will be present who will delight visitors with various gastronomic specialties: from local sausages, to Hungarian delicacies and Angus beef burgers or even vegetables.
Those interested can also buy Christmas decorations and porcelain jewelry, hand-painted mugs, wreaths, garlands, globes, Christmas-specific items, hand-carved and brought from Bethlehem.
The magical atmosphere will be complemented by a cultural program rich in the most diverse events, from carol concerts, gospel music, jazz and rock’n’roll to folklore and theater performances or creative workshops for children.
Also, the organizers announced that during the whole period of the Christmas market, video projections with winter landscapes and colored lights will be played on the buildings in Piața Mare.
The Christmas market in Craiova
In 2021, the Craiova Christmas fair was ranked 6th in the list of the most beautiful fairs in Europe, ahead of cities such as Brussels, Prague, Moscow or Manchester. The first places were Budapest, Vienna and Metz.

In 2022, the Craiova Christmas Market will take place between November 11 and January 8, 2023 in five squares in the city: Mihai Viteazul Square, King Ferdinand and Queen Maria Square – Doljana, Frații Buzești Square, William Shakespeare Square – National Theater and Părculețul Saint Demetrius.

The fairytale setting will be completed by a huge Christmas tree decorated with thousands of lights, a panoramic wheel and a carousel for the little ones.
Santa’s tram will run throughout the fair, between 16:00-18:00, on the Gară-Bucium route, and on some days, Santa will greet the little ones.
Santa’s house is another special attraction that awaits all children who want to leave a letter for Santa.
