According to the doctor, magnesium helps with healthy heart rate, energy and neurotransmitter production, bone metabolism, sleep, relaxation and more.

  4. berries: blueberries, blackberries (they are full of antioxidants and phytochemicals that activate longevity pathways)
  5. Green tea (rich in catechins, reduces oxidative stress and protects the brain from age-related diseases)

These foods, according to the doctor, act like “medicine” and play a vital role in maintaining optimal health and extending longevity.

“We need this ‘supermineral’ for many of our biochemical processes to function properly,” Dr. Hyman added.
