A woman from Ukraine entered the Guinness Book of Records as having the longest hair in the world, reports the Ukrainian edition of the newspaper Truth.
The 35-year-old woman is 1.65 meters tall and her hair exceeds the length of her body by almost a meter. Alia Nasirova’s hair is 2.57 meters long, making her the woman with the longest hair in the world.
Alia Nasirova revealed to the Guinness Book of Records the process by which she takes care of her hair: she washes it once a week, lets it dry naturally for 24 hours, then combs it only when it is completely dry.
Femaia lives in Slovakia and works as a model and graphic artist. Also, she often posts videos and pictures of her hair on YouTube and Instagram.
In everyday life, Alia Nasirova wears her hair in a bun.
The longest hair ever documented on a human belonged to Swami Pandarasannadhi, the leader of an Indian temple. In 1949, his hair measured 7 meters and 93 centimeters.
