Dan Ciotoi did not have an easy life at all, because health problems gave him a lot of trouble.

The artist arrived at the hospital at the last moment and was urgently operated by doctors. Although some time has passed since then, Dan Ciotoi remembers with horror everything he experienced and how difficult that period was for him.

Dan Ciotoi talked about the hardest period of his life

The artist arrived at the hospital after having a ruptured intestine a year ago. Before ending up in serious condition, Dan Ciotoi went to another hospital where he spent three days, but was released after the doctors told him he was fine. Things were different, however.

Since then, Dan Ciotoi went to another hospital, where he was told that if he had been delayed a few more hours, he would have died.

His condition was very serious and he needed emergency surgery. The artist underwent a difficult operation, but he is glad that he managed to survive, as his condition was critical.

“I had an intestinal fissure and I was lucky to have arrived, because if I had been a few more hours late it wouldn’t have been… very serious. The first time I had a dispatch from Sibiu, I arrived in Târgoviște and sent home that I am healthy. It wasn’t true. I said to look for another doctor, to have another check-up elsewhere. Elsewhere he did a CT scan and found it serious, immediately to the emergency room”said Dan Ciotoi.

The artist faced depression

Dan Ciotoi also faced depression for a while, because he went wrong in his marriage. His wife found out and asked for a divorce from him.

After all the big problems in his life, the artist found peace and strength in faith. Dan Ciotoi believes that he was saved by faith when he had the biggest problems.

“During the time when I had problems, I wrote a song: my guardian angel. That’s what happened to me. I had a guardian angel who saved me. It’s a belief, we should all believe. It’s not work, it doesn’t hurt anything. It’s good to believe”he also said.
