Attempt to remove the AUR from the local elections: The candidacies and Ariadna contested at the County Electoral Office

“Ariadna Cîrligeanu is not the president of the AUR county organization, (elected or appointed by decision of the central management) she is only a coordinator as is well known in the local press. What is more and more serious is that the lists of candidates are not signed AND BY the secretary of the county organization, as the statute provides, thus their submission is null and void”.

And that’s because, “at the time of submitting candidacies, only the proposals of the leadership of the county organizations of the political parties participating in the elections are analyzed, without these proposals being conditional on the countersignature by other persons, in this case the secretary of the county organization, as specified in the content of the appeal by reference to the statute the party”.

If Ariadne Cîrligeanuthe BEJ’s response was as follows: “according to the power of attorney submitted at the time of the settlement of the appeal by the AUR representative in the County Office, Mrs. Cîrligeanu Ariadna Elena is authorized to exercise the powers of the party president in Botoșani county, by the AUR president, under the title of interim president of the county branch”.

During the Easter holidays, both electoral offices had their permanence ensured.
