Today, May 6, six bodies of drowned people were found in the Tisa River, journalist Vitaly Glagola reported.
“According to information from my sources, 4 bodies were discovered on the Ukrainian side, 2 bodies on the Romanian side (I already mentioned one case in the morning). Some of the bodies recovered have spent a long time in the water, in a mountain river, a fact indicated by the condition in which they are found.” , says the Ukrainian journalist’s message.
According to Glagol, one of the dead had turned 20 not long ago. It is also known that one body was found near the settlement of Sokyrnytsia, one near Tyachev and one near Bushtyny.
“I ask all those who have the idea of crossing this mountain river to abandon it, because the water in it is more treacherous and dangerous than it seems at first sight,” he summed up.
Death on the Tisa
On April 28, it was learned about the death of two more people on the Tisa river. Their bodies were discovered by border guards.
At the end of April, the State Border Service reported that since the beginning of the Russian Federation’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine, the bodies of 24 people who tried to cross the Tisza have already been found in the area of the Mukachevo border detachment.
