According to IPJ Buzău, from the first data from the scene it emerged that it was a collision between five cars traveling in the direction of Vrancea towards Buzău.
They were driven by three drivers from Bucharest, one aged 49 and two aged 39, a driver from Constanţa, aged 25, and a female driver from Vrancea, aged 33.
The accident resulted in the injury of four passengers in the driver’s car, three minors between the ages of 6 and 14 and a 40-year-old woman, all from Vrancea.
The injured persons were picked up by the ambulance and transported to the hospital for medical care. A criminal case will be drawn up in the case, and the police continue their investigations to establish all the circumstances in which the accident occurred.
Also, on two other national roads in Buzău county – DN10 and DN1 B – road accidents occurred as a result of which two cyclists were injured by motor vehicles.
Congestion on the way back from the Easter mini-break
Congestion was recorded on several roads on Monday. The Infotraffic Center of the Romanian Police has announced since noon that there is congestion on several roads in the country, upon returning from the Easter mini-vacation. There are queues of cars on the downhill direction of DN1 towards Ploiesti, between Predeal and Buşteni stations, but also between Comarnic and Breaza localities.
Also, in the evening, columns of cars also formed on Autostrada Soarelui A2, on the direction to Bucharest, in the area of Fundulea, according to Antena3.
And the main roads in the Bulgarian city of Ruse, located on the border with Romania, are very crowded on Monday afternoon, with hundreds of cars registered in our country waiting in line to enter the Ruse-Giurgiu Border Crossing Point.
