An Employee From DRDP Craiova, Seriously Injured in an Accident in which a Colleague Lost Her Life, Died in Hospital

DRDP Craiova representatives announced on Saturday that the employee injured in the accident on DN 6 died.

“Despite all the superhuman efforts made by the medical staff, with all the prayers of the family and colleagues, our colleague injured in the tragic accident on DN 6, 2 weeks ago, did not manage to overcome the seriousness of the injuries he suffered and died. We are with the hard-pressed family and we will help with everything needed, as a real family that we are”, said Călin Cosmin, the regional director of DRDP Craiova.

On April 24, a woman employed at DRDP Craiova died, and one of her colleagues was seriously injured in a road accident. They were doing unclogging work when they were hit by a vehicle.

The representatives of the Police Inspectorate of Dolj County announced that the accident was caused by a Bulgarian driver.

“In the afternoon of April 24, the Dolj County Police Inspectorate was alerted to the occurrence of a road incident on DN 6, in the town of Răcarii de Sus. Police officers from the Filiaşi City Police went to the scene and found that a 68-year-old man, a Bulgarian citizen, while driving a TIR on DN 6, in the town of Răcarii de Sus, collided with – back with a van that he designed in two people. It is about a 45-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man, who were carrying out road maintenance work, on lane 1,” the police said.

They specified that the driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result being negative.
