The Năvodari police on Thursday issued a provisional protection order in the name of AUR deputy Dumitru Focsa after his wife complained to him on the night of Wednesday to Thursday that he assaulted her, they told G4Media official sources.
The policemen who came to the family home opened a criminal case for the crime of domestic violence and detected an “imminent risk”, which is why they issued a temporary protection order.
We remind you that, in January 2023, Focsa was the protagonist of a similar scandal, being accused of assaulting his wife. At the time, he was expelled from the AUR, but in November 2023 he was reinstated in the parliamentary group of the extremist party led by George Simion.
Focsa’s return to the AUR group took place after his wife withdrew her criminal complaint and gave up the divorce action.
Focsa, recidivist
In January 2023, AUR Focsa deputy Dumitru Viorel was accused of beating his wife on the night of Wednesday to Thursday. The parliamentarian, who had been drinking, allegedly made a scandal, and when the police arrived at the scene, he invoked parliamentary immunity, they stated for Epoch Times at that time sources aware of the situation.
According to the sources, the deputy exuded alcoholic breath. However, this would not have been tested.
Contacted by our editorial office to confirm the “incident” in which the deputy was involved, the Constanţa County Police Inspectorate sent a statement from which it appears that the assaulted wife filed a complaint and that, ATTENTION, a MINOR also participated in the incident. Basically, Focsa beat his wife in the presence of a child, probably his daughter.
It is worth mentioning that, on his Facebook page, Focsa presents himself as a “lover of nation and country”.
