Three men were injured in an accident involving three cars and an empty tanker. The road accident took place on Monday morning, on DN 10, in the area of Sita Buzăului, in Covasna county.
A 19-year-old young man, who was driving a car on DN 10, from Braşov to Buzău, at kilometer 105 + 150 m, in circumstances to be determined, entered the opposite direction of travel and collided head-on with a another car traveling from Buzău to Braşov.
Two other vehicles, a tanker and a van, each behind one of the cars involved in the collision, ended up in the ditch on the side of the road, trying to avoid the hit cars.
The 19-year-old and two other men, both drivers in two of the other affected vehicles, received medical assistance and were transported to the hospital.
Three of the four drivers could be tested with the alcohol test device. The results were negative.
The police have opened a criminal case for personal injury.
