An accident took place this morning on ICBrătianu boulevard in Drobeta-Turnu Severin. Four cars were involved. A 34-year-old man from Drobeta-Turnu Severin, while driving, would not have kept the legal distance from a vehicle driven by another 52-year-old man who was moving in front of him.
“The policemen from the Road Bureau went to the scene and, following the checks carried out, they determined that a 34-year-old man from Drobeta-Turnu Severin, while driving a car on ICBrătianu boulevard, would not have kept the legal distance towards a vehicle driven by another 52-year-old man who was traveling in front of him, and collided with it.
From the impact, the car driven by the 52-year-old man ricocheted into another vehicle driven by a 47-year-old man. Also, the third car collided with another car driven by a 23-year-old man.
The accident resulted in the bodily injury of the 52-year-old driver, who was transported to the hospital for specialized care.
All the drivers involved in the road incident were tested with the alcohol test device, the results being negative”said IPJ Mehedinți representatives.
A criminal case was drawn up, under the aspect of committing the crime of culpable bodily harm.
