A 52-year-old man arrived at the hospital on Monday following a road accident in the municipality of Drobeta Turnu Severin.

Police officers from the Road Bureau went to the scene and, following the checks carried out, determined that a 34-year-old man from Drobeta-Turnu Severin, while driving a car on ICBrătianu boulevard, would not have kept the legal distance from by a vehicle driven by another 52-year-old man who was traveling in front of him, and collided with him.

From the impact, the car driven by the 52-year-old man ricocheted into another vehicle driven by a 47-year-old man.

Also, the third car collided with another car driven by a 23-year-old man.

The accident resulted in the bodily injury of the 52-year-old driver, who was transported to the hospital for specialized care.

All the drivers involved in the road accident were tested with the alcohol test device, the results were negative.

In the case, a criminal file was drawn up, under the aspect of committing the crime of culpable bodily harm.
