On the morning of Monday, April 29, a fire broke out on Strada Nicolae Titulescu, at a block of flats located in the area between “Sandu Aldea” Agricultural High School and “Nicolae Titulescu” Secondary School.
The fire, ambulance and police vehicles were caught around 07:32 while they were on the scene. According to the information provided by ISU Călărași representatives, the fire was not large and there were no casualties.
The fire started in the kitchen of an apartment in the M24 block, and firefighters quickly intervened and extinguished the flames in a very short time. The fire allegedly broke out due to a malfunction of the hood. During the operation, traffic was stopped in the area, as can be seen in the images captured by Călărași PRESS reporters.
“This morning, there was a fire in the kitchen hood of an apartment, located on the ground floor of the M24 block. In fact, there was a large smoke release and it was cleared without much trouble in about five minutes. It was a very easy intervention,” transmits the spokesperson of ISU Călărași, Ovidiu Tătăranu.
