A fatal road accident took place today, on Palm Sunday, on DJ 226, in the town of Sinoe.
Following the event, a vehicle overturned and a person was found unconscious. The emergency intervention of medical teams was needed. The Midia Ambulance Station immediately responded to the incident, sending an ambulance to the scene. SMURD B Midia and SMURD C Palas units also intervened to provide the necessary medical assistance and transport the victim to the nearest medical facility.
Unfortunately, she passed away.
“The victim (21-year-old man) was declared dead at the scene of the intervention,” declared the representatives of ISU Constanța.
The involved car is registered in Tulcea.
Authorities are on the scene to investigate the cause of the accident and regulate traffic in the area.
Also today, a man died after drowning in the Mamaia resort.
