A tragedy shook the state of Alaska, following the crash of a cargo plane, in which it is assumed that the two occupants lost their lives. The incident took place on Tuesday, near the airport in Fairbanks, according to the American authorities.
According to the information provided by the Alaskan police, the plane crashed into the Tanana River, less than 10 minutes after takeoff.
“The plane fell on a steep hill on the bank of the river, where it caught fire. No survivors were found,” said the police.

The plane involved in the tragedy is a Douglas DC-4, a model created during the Second World War and which has not been produced for over thirty years.
