A 100-meter long section of road on the DN 74A national route that connects Abrud to Boncești collapsed due to heavy rainfall, in the area of ​​Cărpiniș town in Alba county.

In other regions of the country, traffic is generally fluid, with the exception of the access point to Bucharest on the A1 highway, where congestion is recorded.

According to the information provided by the Infotraffic Center, due to the rains that have fallen in the last few hours, on the DN 74A Abrud – Boncești section, at kilometer 8+500, in the Cărpiniș town of Alba County, the roadway collapsed for approximately 100 meters, in the direction of went to Abrud.

Road traffic is diverted alternatively, in the opposite direction, with the help of traffic lights, being restricted for vehicles with a maximum authorized weight of more than 7.5 tons.

According to the deputy mayor of Roșia Montană, Vasile Morariu, road maintenance works were being carried out in that area, but he wanted to emphasize that it was “Dorel’s work”, i.e. one that was carried out improperly.

“Good evening, in my capacity as deputy mayor of Roșia Montană commune, passing tonight through the Valea lui Ilie area, ROțIA MONTANĂ ZONE, I saw Dorel’s work on DN 74, due to the rains the road cracked up to the white line, in case in which it rains all night, it is possible to get wet, TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT, I URGENTLY ASK THOSE ON THE NATIONAL ROADS TO TAKE THE NECESSARY MEASURES (INSTALLATION OF A TRAFFIC LIGHT, SPEED RESTRICTION, WITH A FEW TENS OF M TOMORROW), LET’S NOT PATIENCE LIKE GODIN IN BUCHAREST!!! I didn’t criticize anyone, I only warned to avoid an accident!!!”wrote Vasile Morariu on Facebook, the deputy mayor of Roșia Montane.

In the rest of the country, traffic conditions are good, the road is wet, and visibility is good, with no ongoing road incident recorded.

On the most important roads, such as the A1 Bucharest-Pitesti, A2 Bucharest-Constanța, A3 Bucharest-Brașov, DN 1 Ploiești-Brașov and DN 7 Pitesti-Sibiu highways, traffic is predominantly on wet roads, with good visibility and traffic normal.

There are reports of congestion on the direction of entry into Bucharest of the A1 Bucharest-Pitesti highway, starting from Ciorogârla, Ilfov county. The situation is similar on the Bucharest Ring Road, in the Domnești and Bragadiru areas.
