Ramona Olaru was away for a few days on vacation in Egypt, but she wants to forget this nightmare period. Even though she has a lot of experience when it comes to traveling and vacations, Ramona Olaru only experienced problems when she was away in Egypt. The trouble started soon after he got there.

Ramona Olaru, who broke up with her boyfriend, tried not to be affected by anything and tried to enjoy, as much as she can, everything that happens in her life. She went on vacation to Egypt, where she had problems right from the airport. She had to wait a few hours to receive her luggage, after which she left for the hotel.

When he arrived at the reception, he noticed that he no longer had his passport, which he lost on the way from the airport to the hotel, which he traveled in about an hour. Ramona called the airport and did everything she could to retrieve her documents. In the end, he decided to enjoy the holiday and the event he went to.

“A country without infrastructure, absolutely nothing organized, something terrible. Take it and start calling everywhere, everyone you know, that could help you reach the Romanian Embassy in Cairo. I started calling someone, God help me because in the meantime I got to meet some really cool people. I managed to get in touch with the Embassy very quickly”, said Ramona Olaru, on Instagram.

Victim of a road accident

Ramona called the consulate, where she was given all the instructions on how to proceed in order to return home. He just had to wait until Sunday, because that’s when he was open at the Egyptian Ministry of Interior.

On Sunday morning, the TV nurse went to the institution. It’s just that the people there explained to him after several wasted hours that he had to go to the police station first. With the help of the uber driver he went to a police station. There he had to declare his passport lost and only after obtaining that paper could he return to the ministry.

Finally, after obtaining the document, Ramona Olaru returned to the ministry where she obtained the stamp on the document certifying that she lost her passport, that she is a Romanian citizen and that she can return to the country.

But losing her passport was not Ramona Olaru’s only concern in Egypt. While he was in a taxi to get to the Ministry of Interior, the car he was in was hit by another driver. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the accident, not even the driver who was behind the wheel of the taxi.
