AUR MP Marius Ostaficiuc: “Four years with Alexe and Chirica brought Iasi down!” The list of unfulfilled promises is getting longer”

The problem is that the two did not fulfill their role for which they were elected by the people of Iași in 2020, on the basis of which the liberals at the head of the current local administration received the people’s vote.

Chirica and Alexe launched into several electoral promises, which were then abandoned, AUR deputy Marius Ostaficiuc showed.

“The list of electoral promises from 2020 made by the Chirica-Alexe team was an extremely long one, a list that includes some feasible projects, but also some phantasmagorical ones. Skipping over the latter category, this couple failed to deliver even on their promises on those projects they had nothing to do but implement. Now, I just wave them again. I remember the slogan of another politician from Iași, years ago, which showed that important things take time. It seems his mayoral successor didn’t just copy his slogan, he took the words literally. Unfortunately, the situation is slowing down, and the citizens of Iași will elect themselves with new promises this time as well”said Marius Ostaficiuc, AUR Iași deputy.

The member of parliament from Iași also mentioned the fact that both Costel Alexe and Mihai Chirica launched themselves into promises without cover, promises that the two will retread and present to the voters again.

“The people of Iași did not forget the fact that they were carried away with sugar, the people of Iași did not forget that the two are champions in criminal cases and less so in the development of projects that bring added value to the community. The commitment related to the A8 highway, the city ring road or traffic streamlining, not to mention industrial parks, the total modernization of county roads and even bus stations, all on the list of promises from the 2020-2024 mandate, have been postponed for another date. I don’t remember any multipurpose hall or stadium and even an intra-county transport at the best standards, these being at the head of unfulfilled promises. Unfortunately, this tandem is more and more desperate, it is more and more harmful for hundreds of thousands of Iași people. That’s why Alexe and Chirica must be sanctioned at the polls by the people of Iași”also said Marius Ostaficiuc, AUR deputy from Iași.

The parliamentarian from Iași also stated that the liberals from the mayor’s office and the County Council should apologize to the people of Iași instead of asking for their vote again.

“It is clear that what the two promised has no cover. That is why the Yeshens must sanction them and turn their face. Iasi needs concrete projects, not models and drawings. But neither of them understand this lure and continue to live in a parallel world”also said Marius Ostaficiuc, AUR Iași deputy.
