An 84-year-old man from the municipality is guilty of the accident that occurred today on the pedestrian crossing on Lucian Blaga boulevard in the municipality of Satu Mare. The driver hit a 75-year-old woman on the pedestrian crossing, who was later picked up by an ambulance.

The accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon, April 2, on Lucian Blaga boulevard in the municipality of Satu Mare. Two police teams and an ambulance belonging to the Satu Mare County Ambulance Service (SAJ) arrived at the scene.

“Following the checks carried out, the police found out that an 84-year-old driver, from Satu Mare, allegedly hit a 75-year-old woman, who was crossing the public road.

The woman was transported to a medical unit, for the provision of specialized care.

The driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result was negative.

In the case, the investigations are continued under the aspect of committing the crime of culpable bodily harm.
