Simona made her debut at the Royal Opera House in 2009 and since then she has given incredible recitals under the baton of famous conductors such as Sir Charles Mackerras, Sir Antonio Pappano, Nicola Luisotti, Daniel Oren, Dan Ettinger, Evelino Pido, Fabio Luisi, Robin Ticciati or Daniele Rustioni .

She gave her last performance on the stage of Cocent Garden where she played Musetta from the opera La Boheme. The artist will also be able to be admired in the new season at the Royal Opera House.

Simona Mihai can boast of an impressive portfolio. Among the roles she had on the British stage, we can mention Belinda (Dido and Aeneas), Manon (Manon), Michaela (Carmen), Mimì and Musetta (La Bohème), Nedda (Pagliacci), Angelica (Suor Angelica), Countess Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Governess (Turn of the Screw), Adina (L’elisir d’amore), Giulietta (Les Contess d’Hoffmann), Despina (Cosi fan Tutte), Agnes Sorel (The maid of Orleans ).

The artist was born in Bucharest, and since 1997 she lives in Great Britain. His talent was noticed from the time he was less than 18 years old. She was invited to join an international team. Simona Mihai was a scholarship holder of the European Opera Center, which is why she was cast in the lead role of Celia in the opera Lucio Silla by WA Mozart.

Originally from Bucharest, Simona Mihai has been in Great Britain since 1997. Invited to join an international team at the age of 18, having been offered a special European Union scholarship supported by the European Opera Center, she was cast in the lead role of Celia from the opera Lucio Silla by WAMozart.

During the courses at the Royal College of Music, Simona Mihai received the Queen Elizabeth scholarship. In 2006 he was awarded the RCM Junior Fellow title. For two years he worked with college students to direct opera scenes.

Between 2008-2010 she was a member of the Jette Parker Young Artists program at the Royal Opera House.
