The March for Life is organized, today, in hundreds of localities in the country and in the Republic of Moldova.
In Iasi, the event will start at 1:00 p.m. The participants will travel along the route Piața Unirii – Bulevardul Independţei – Metropolitan Cathedral.
As every year, the March for Life is the culmination of the “Month for Life”, during which pro-life information, awareness and education actions take place, explained the spokesman of the Archdiocese of Iasi, priest Lucian Apopei: “In the Archdiocese of Iasi, the March for Life takes place, not only in Iasi, but also in 19 localities in the counties of Iasi, Botoșani and Neamț. The event is part of the Pro Life approach at the national level, gathering this year around the theme “Building together for life”, thus advocating for a world where every pregnant woman and every child is welcome and supported. “We build for life” also means creating supportive communities. Recently, Pro Vita Iași started the construction of a house for a family with nine children as part of the “Dar for children” project. The month for life gathered this year in the Archdiocese of Iasi more than 200 Pro-Life activities, conferences, debates, contests, artistic and creative activities.”
