At around 19.10, the Capital Police – Section 9 was informed, by several people who live in the same block in Sector 2, that a neighbor had stabbed a woman.
The police officers of Section 9 identified and located the 57-year-old man suspected of committing the crime. He was immobilized and taken to the headquarters of the subunit.
Also, a first-aid crew was present, which, despite the efforts made, found the death of the victim, a 56-year-old woman.
“From the first checks, it was established that the deed was committed in the area where the woman carried out her activity, as she was the administrator of the block”, reports the Capital Police on Thursday evening.
The case was taken over by the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Bucharest Court, together with the Homicide Service – DGPMB, in order to continue the investigations and establish the circumstances in which the event occurred. The lifeless body is to be transported to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine, in order to carry out the necropsy.
