Samsung Galaxy M15 and M55 5G get official release date; I arrive on April 8th in India

I’ve said time and time again that I love the phones in the range Galaxy M. Sometimes they also reach the local level, and it is interesting in their case that the letter “m” comes from “Monster“. In other words, they are terminals that come with “monstrous batteries”, generous displays, attractive specifications at affordable prices. It is also the case of the Galaxy M55, a very interesting terminal from my point of view. Below are some details about the new models that will be officially launched on April 8 in India.

We start with the Galaxy M15 5G, a terminal that will receive a 6.5-inch diagonal display. It is about a Super AMOLED with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, 4GB / 6GB / 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. It will receive a 6000 mAh battery that charges at 25W per wire, it comes with a 50 MP photo sensor on the back, a 5 MP ultrawide camera, and a 13 MP selfie camera.

The Galaxy M55 5G also appears, a phone that has had leaks recently. It will adopt a similar design to the Galaxy A55, but the specifications are better. It receives a 6.7-inch diagonal Super AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a brightness of up to 1000 nits. It comes with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB or 256 GB storage + microSD card slot.

The Galaxy M55 5G will be the only new-generation phone in Samsung’s portfolio to support fast charging at 45W on the wire. Both models will run Android 14 and come with One UI 6.1 overlaid. It’s unclear if the phones will arrive in Europe, though chances are they will arrive under the “Galaxy C” lineup.
