We’ve heard rumors of a foldable phone in the past “Ultra” under the Samsung portfolio. Until now, such a model has not debuted, the duo being formed every year by a variant with a Flip flap and a Fold card type. Well, in 2024 there’s a chance we’ll see the first such “Ultra” terminal, which could arrive alongside the base Galaxy Z Fold6. I have details below.

The publication Winfuture published an article in February that discussed a so-called Galaxy Z Fold6 Ultra. Now comes the GalaxyClub with some hints that such a model could actually debut. It would carry the model number SM-F958, considering that the vanilla variant comes with the model number SM-F956. The logic behind the rumor? Samsung uses the number “8” as a suffix for the Ultra models in its portfolio, which is why the Galaxy S24 Ultra has the model number SM-S928.

The publication identified clues related to a phone that has the model number SM-F958N, which means that it is a terminal that will debut in South Korea. In other words, it’s not clear if an Ultra variant will actually arrive this year, but the discovery of such a model with the figure “8” as a suffix in the model number suggests it.

Unfortunately, no other information is known. If Samsung were to create a foldable “Ultra” book, it would probably try to bring similar features to the flagship Ultra in the “S” range. In other words, I’m thinking of more powerful cameras, a special slot for the S-Pen in the body of the phone, slightly changed design elements compared to the basic version of the series.
