Gigi Becali is a motivated patron after his team’s Superliga triumph. FCSB is the champion of Romania and will start its European campaign in the first preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League.
The road to the groups of the most prestigious interclub competition in Europe is a long one for the new champion of Romania. FCSB will have to go through three preliminary rounds and a play-off, in order to qualify for the Champions League groups for the first time in ten years.
Gigi Becali started early his preparations for the new season, in which he wants to repeat this year’s performance, as well as a qualification in the groups of a European competition. Rafa Mujica, the Spanish striker of the Portuguese first league team, Arouca, is a name which the boss from FCSB would like to see in “red-blue”.
The team’s top scorer and at the same time, the third scorer of the Portuguese championship, behind big names like Simon Banza and Viktor Gyokeres. The striker wanted by FCSB and Real Betis scored 20 goals in the first Portuguese league.
MM Stoica: “Gigi got mad at me”
