MM Stoica revealed that negotiations have opened for the extension of the agreement with Risto Radunovic, the 31-year-old starting left winger, who arrived at the team in 2021. The player from Montenegro still has a contract until the winter, but FCSB wants to secure him for a longer period.

“Negotiations with his agent have begun. Now we are quite far apart, I hope we get closer, but let it be from both directions. I am neither optimistic nor pessimistic. I know he’s our player until December, and he won’t leave in the summer, I guarantee that, even if he doesn’t sign the extension. I can’t discuss plan B”, revealed MM Stoica, at Orange Sport.

His colleague, Basarab Panduru, moved the discussion to Kiki, Farulu’s left defender, who drew the attention of Gigi Becali. The financier FCSB announced that it will not negotiate with the side defender behind Gică Hagi, although the footballer can become free from the contract.

“Kiki! It’s hard to compare with Radunovic. Radunovic is someone who played match after match at FCSB. Kiki didn’t play match after match at Farul and anywhere, he knows football, he has quality, but you can’t compare him with Radunovic now. Radunovic is from the movie FCSB, but Kiki I don’t know if he will be from there, we’ll see,” said the member of the Golden Generation.

Valentin Creţu is another footballer from FCSB who is preparing to sign a contract extension, and Gigi Becali’s list also includes Louis Munteanu, Alibec, Baeten, Otele or Mitriţă.
