Jaqueline Cristian achieved a sensational qualification in the third round of the WTA tournament in Madrid.

The player ranked 73rd in the world ranking defeated Barbora Krejcikova (27 WTA, champion in 2021 at Roland Garros) in three sets, after a match that lasted two hours and 7 minutes.

After losing a first set with a score of 6-2, Jaqueline Cristian returned to the match and managed a sensational second set, which she won with 6-0.
