The police officers from Sectors 1 and 3 of the Capital acted, on Friday and Saturday evening, in collaboration with the Special Actions Service, the Bucharest Organized Crime Brigade and the Road Brigade to prevent and combat anti-social acts, the consumption of alcoholic beverages while driving and the disorder public peace, which can degenerate into conflicts or crimes against the person.
In the Old Center, about 1,700 people were identified and checked and about 700 body checks were carried out, and the activity of 20 commercial companies was also checked.
4 representatives of some economic operators being invited to appear at the headquarters of the subunits, in order to check the accounting documents.
12 fines were issued, amounting to 17,065 lei.
Following the checks carried out, the traffic police detected 24 crimes, of which: 6 for driving under the influence of psychoactive substances, 6 for driving with a suspended driver’s license, 5 for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages, 2 for refusing to collect biological samples, 4 for driving without a driver’s license and one for an unregistered car.
