Beautiful weather in the first part of the 2024 spring vacation week for students and, on Easter – possible rains and slightly colder weather, according to the weather forecast from the National Meteorological Administration (ANM), for Edupedu.ro.

Kindergarteners and students began their 2024 spring break on Saturday, April 27. The holiday lasts 11 days, up to and including Tuesday, May 7, the third day of Easter, according to the 2023-2024 school year calendar.
After the Easter break, all students start the last module of courses: module 5, the one in which the National Assessments from grades II-VI take place. School Module 5 courses start midweek on Wednesday 8 May and run until 21 June 2024.
According to the ANM forecast, in the country, on Sunday, April 28, Monday and Tuesday, the maximum temperatures are 25-27 degrees, with variable skies and weak and moderate wind.
From Wednesday, May 1, “thermal values will remain above the climatological averages specific to this period. The probability of rain will be higher in the first days in the east and southeast, and towards the end of the interval in the southeast regions.
From Saturday, May 4, until Tuesday, May 7 inclusive, “temperature values will be close to the norms of the period in most of the country, then they will tend to decrease slightly, especially in the regions of the northern half. The probability of rain will be increasing”, reports the National Meteorological Administration.

Maximum temperatures will be between 18 and 25 degrees, and minimum temperatures will be between 5 and 13 degrees, lower in the depressions in eastern Transylvania to values around 1 degree. The maximum temperatures will generally fall between 17 and 26 degrees, with the lowest values in the Danube Delta, and the minimum ones will be between 5 and 14 degrees, lower in the depressions in eastern Transylvania to values around 0 degrees.
