An Avangarde survey commissioned by the PSD, consulted by G4Media, announces that Nicușor Dan is in first place in the electorate’s options, with 31%, if the elections for Bucharest City Hall would take place next Sunday. In second place is former general mayor Gabriela Firea (PSD candidate), with 24%, and Cristian Popescu Piedone fell from first place to third place, with 20%. He is followed by Sebastian Burduja, with 15%, and by the candidate of the extremist AUR party, Mihai Enache, who ends the ranking with 7%.
- The survey was conducted in Bucharest, on a sample of 1150 people, and the data were collected door-to-door (on the ground), between April 24 and 27. At a 95% confidence level, the poll’s margin of error is +/- 2.9%, according to information from the Avangarde poll.
About to the General Councilthe highest percentage would be won by the PSD – 31%, followed by the United Alliance (USR, PMP, Forța Dreptei) with 25% and PNL – 20%.
PUSL, the party of former Securitate Dan Voiculescu (founder of Antenelor), from which Piedone is running for Bucharest City Hall, would get 10%, and the extremist parties AUR and SOS would get 9% and 2%, respectively. REPER, the party founded by Dacian Cioloș and broken from USR, appears with 1%.
In terms of European parliamentary electionsthe PSD-PNL alliance would get 50%, followed by the opposition alliance ADU with 26%, AUR – 11%, PUSL – 9%, SOS – 2% and REPER – 1%.
At question Do you think that the decision of the PSD-PNL alliance to change the joint candidate, Cătălin Cîrstoiu, was a decision…? 58% of those who answered the survey say that it was a good decision, 18% that it was a wrong decision, and 24% do not know or did not answer.
The survey also shows that 36% of Bucharest residents are dissatisfied or very dissatisfied with the way things look in the Capital, 22% are neutral, and 42% are satisfied or very satisfied.
