Two bears were seen in the last 24 hours in the towns of Harghita county. The authorities informed the population. Mixed teams were sent to the area, according to jurnalul.ro.
ISU Harghita announced that on Saturday afternoon “the presence of a bear was reported in the town of Sâncrăieni”.
A RO-ALERT warning message was sent, the authorities said.
In the night from Friday to Saturday, a bear was seen in Miercurea Ciuc, on Dr. Dénes László street.
And in this case, the locals were warned about the presence of dangerous animals.
In Harghita, the gendarmes had to fight bears again
The gendarmes had nine interventions this weekend to remove some bears that arrived near the towns of Borsec, Bențid, Băile Tușnad, Gheorgheni, Corbu and Bălan.
Three calls to 112 were recorded on Friday, according to the Harghita Gendarmerie. The first showed the presence of a bear in the Fairy Glade near the town of Borsec. The gendarmerie patrol sent there did not find the bear in the area.
The following two calls were made from the village of Bențid, Şimonești commune, both of which reported the presence of a bear on a street in the village.
