The FCSB team defeated the Farul Constanţa team 2-1 at home on Saturday evening, in the seventh stage of the Superleague play-off, and won the title of champion. The previous title of the Bucharesters dates back to 2015. In the current season, with three stages before the end, FCSB has 49 points, while Farul, in second place, has 35.

The Bucharesters opened the scoring in the 26th minute, when Miculescu received in the box, from Olaru, and scored. Grameni blocked Olaru at the last moment in the 62nd minute phase, so that, in the 77th minute, Olaru could escape alone with Buzbuchi, but the visitors’ goalkeeper managed to deflect the ball wide of the goal. After only two minutes, Louis Munteanu crossed from the right and Rivaldinho equalized with a header. FCSB clinched the title in the 84th minute, when Alexandru Băluţă scored. The hosts waited for the VAR analysis, the goal was awarded, and Elias Charalambous’ students are mathematically champions. Until the end, Olaru sent into the crossbar, on a counterattack in the 90th + 3rd minute and the match ended with FCSB’s victory, score 2-1.
