On April 3, 2024, the policemen of the Târgu Mureș Organized Crime Brigade, together with the prosecutors of DIICOT – Târgu Mureș Territorial Service, carry out 10 house searches, in Mureș County, in a criminal case regarding the commission of the offenses of trafficking minors, trafficking of high-risk drugs and carrying out, without the right, operations with substances likely to have psychoactive effects.
From the research carried out, it emerged that, starting from February 2024, four people under investigation allegedly sold substances with psychoactive effects to several consumers in Mureș County, and another person under investigation allegedly sold high-risk drugs in the municipality of Sighisoara, in the form of hand-made cigarettes from corn silk impregnated with MDMD-4en-PINACA.
Also, starting in January 2024, a man, using the loverboy method, would have recruited a 17-year-old minor victim, with whom he would have started a concubinage relationship, after which he would have induced her to practice prostitution, supporting -o by providing transport and paying the rent.
He would have exercised, including through acts of physical and mental violence, a permanent control over the injured person, appropriating the sums of money obtained from her sexual exploitation.
The hearings will be held at the headquarters of the Organized Crime and Terrorism Investigation Directorate – Târgu Mureș Territorial Service.
