The Monument of the Union, the Palace of the Princes and the 4th Gate of the Alba Carolina Citadel, illuminated in blue for International Autism Awareness Day

The Monument of the Union, the Palace of the Princes and the 4th Gate of the Alba Carolina Citadel will be illuminated in blue on Tuesday evening, on International Autism Awareness Day.

April 2nd has been declared International Autism Awareness Day, being highlighted annually worldwide with the aim of promoting the understanding of autism and increasing the general public’s awareness of the social needs of people with autism and their families.

This year’s campaign, organized by the Social Assistance Department of the Alba Iulia City Hall, the Alba County Emergency Hospital and ACAS, takes place in front of the Union Monument and aims to inform and raise awareness:

– health and education professionals about the issue of autism and the management methods of patients with autism;
– parents in general, parents and relatives of autistic patients on the possibilities of diagnosis, treatment and on the full realization of the rights of autistic people.

Tonight, the Monument of the Union, the Palace of the Princes and the 4th Gate of the Alba Carolina Fortress will be illuminated in blue.
