The Vaslui fire department intervenes with 14 military firefighters and four special vehicles, to limit, liquidate and remove the negative effects of the fire that broke out in the municipality of Vaslui, on Castanilor street. When the intervention crews arrived, the fire was manifested by generalized burning at the level of a car garage and the roof of a house, with the danger of spreading to the entire building. There was also the danger of an explosion as several containers of combustible liquids were stored in the garage, as well as a cylinder filled with butane.
After about half an hour, the fire was extinguished within the limits found, the explosion being avoided. At these moments, the military firefighters are working to identify possible fires (the floor of the house is made of wooden material) and at the same time, to remove the negatives of the fire. About 70% of the house was saved, and no casualties were recorded.
They burned the garage, about 120 square meters of tin roof on wooden floor, about 60 square meters of polystyrene insulation, two doors, three windows, tools, machinery and devices for woodworking, as well as electrical household goods.
About 100 meters of tin roof on a wooden floor, about 140 square meters of flooring and 70 square meters of expanded polystyrene thermal insulation, interior plastering on an area of no more than 60 square meters, household appliances and pieces of furniture were degraded.
The probable cause of the fire outbreak was an electrical short circuit produced in an electrical conductor.
