The electricity supply was partially interrupted, on Tuesday evening, in several localities in the county, after the strong wind affected the transformer stations, reports Agerpres.

According to the information provided by the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Harghita, 44 substations from Bilbor, Gălăuţaş, Topliţa, Cinod, Eghersec, Cristuru Secuiesc and Lacu Roşu localities remained without electricity, affecting approximately 2,000 consumers.

The electricity distributor’s teams are on the ground to fix the faults.

During the day, almost 3,000 other consumers, from several localities in Harghita, were left without electricity, but most of the problems were solved.

Also, several trees fell on the national and county roads, but also on a block in Miercurea-Ciuc, without any damage being recorded.

Harghita county is, until Tuesday evening, under a yellow weather warning, as wind intensifications are forecast with speeds of 55-65 km/h, locally 70-80 km/h, in gusts the wind speed can reach 100 km/h .
