Neamț County is under an orange code of wind intensification, its speed reaching over 80-85 km per hour, and some gusts even reaching 120 km/hour.

Residents of Valea Ursului and Urecheni communes were left without electricity, due to two overhead lines and 12 transformers that were affected.

In this context, the German firefighters are requested to the maximum, for interventions to clear trees or pieces of roof that are torn off by the strong wind. In Piatra-Neamț alone, in the last few hours, there have been over 20 calls for such situations, most of them regarding detached pieces of roof that could injure passers-by. Also in the municipality of Piatra-Neamț, on Doctor Iacomi Street, the exterior insulation came off the facade of a block of flats, the firemen acting to remove the construction materials. It also intervened on Petru Rareș street in the county seat municipality to remove pieces of the roof of a building that had fallen onto 2 cars and the roadway.

In Roman, on Roman Mușat boulevard, firefighters intervened with SVSU Roman to remove a chimney from the roof of a four-story building. On the same boulevard, but also on Anton Pann street, work is being done to remove some trees that have fallen over power lines. On Vlad Țepeș Street, together with SVSU, work is being done to move some pieces of the roof of an apartment block.

In the commune of Pipirig, on DN 15B, a tree fell on the road, the firemen intervene together with the volunteer service to remove it from the roadway.
