The number of respiratory infections and flu continues to decrease in Satu Mare. Instead, the number of Covid cases is increasing slightly, according to data provided by the Public Health Directorate (DSP) Satu Mare.

Thus, in the week of 25.03-31.03.2024, at the county level, the total number of cases of acute respiratory infections (IACRS, pneumonia and flu) was 636, a considerable decrease compared to the 804 registered in the previous week.

The centralized situation of the data reported by family doctors at the county level from the 2023-2024 season of acute respiratory infections and influenza is presented as follows:

Age group no. IACRS cases No. pneumonia cases No. flu cases

The highest incidence rates for IACRS were recorded in the 5-14 age group (0.39‰), for pneumonia in the over 65 age group (0.10‰), and for influenza in the age group 5-14 years (0.01 ‰).

Until 31.03.2024, 12,368 people from at-risk groups were vaccinated against influenza, with self-purchased and compensated vaccine.
