A 35-year-old man from the Calopăr commune, suspected of aggravated theft and destruction, was detained by the police from Bucovăţ.
The police were alerted by a man from Bucovăț that unknown persons had broken into the premises of a PECO station in the commune. Several goods were stolen from the station.
A 35-year-old man from Calopăr was identified, suspected of breaking into the premises of the peco station on the night of March 30/31. He destroyed two surveillance cameras and a thermal window, allegedly stole a mobile phone and the sum of 370 lei.
Based on the evidence administered, the police detained the man for 24 hours. He was taken into custody at the Dolj County Police Inspectorate.
The man is to be presented, today, to the Public Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Craiova Court in order to order a preventive measure.
